MAGNETIO is a multiplayer .io game inspired by the classic snake game, drawn in a hand-inked comic and manga style. Every snake is a living magnet. Stars in your own color are pulled toward you automatically, so you grow faster the smarter you move. Rainbow stars, dropped by knocked-out snakes, can be eaten by everyone – which is why every fight turns into a race for the loot.

How to play
- Open magnetio.cloud, type a nickname and pick a color. Your color decides which stars you can eat.
- Steer your snake toward stars of your color. Your magnet pulls them in from a distance.
- Grow longer – every star adds points and length. A bigger snake is wider and harder to stop.
- Don't hit other snakes or the frame. If your head touches another snake's body, you are knocked out. Head to head, the bigger snake wins.
- Knock out rivals by cutting them off. Their body breaks into rainbow stars that anyone can eat.

🌈 Rainbow
For 8 seconds you can eat stars of every color. Perfect moment to grow fast.
⚡ Boost
Move almost twice as fast. Boosting costs points and leaves stars behind you, so use it wisely.
💥 Pulse
A magnetic shockwave that repaints nearby stars to your color and pushes enemies away. Costs 5 points, recharges in 9 seconds.
🛡️ Spawn shield
Fresh snakes are protected for 2 seconds, so you never lose the moment you join.
Tips & strategy for a high score
- Stay away from the frame. The arena edge is deadly – keep it in mind when you boost.
- Pulse into crowds. When you see lots of stars in other colors, fire the Pulse: they all become yours.
- Pulse to defend. Someone trying to cut you off? A Pulse knocks their head away and stuns them.
- Circle smaller snakes. Once you are long, wrap around a rival and close the loop.
- Boost only with a plan. Short bursts to grab rainbow stars or block a rival work best.
- Follow the fights. Every knockout drops a pile of rainbow stars. Arrive first and eat.
